William J. Brunkhardt
Mr. Brunkhardt is currently serving as Chairman and Chief Technology Strategist of Global Messaging Solutions, Inc. (GMSI), a leading privately-held eMail and secure communications company based in Kansas City. GMSI provides extensive eMail and messaging technology services that increase the reliability, security and management of eMail and messaging systems for clients worldwide. Mr. Brunkhardt’s infrastructure oversees millions of confidential eMails delivered flawlessly each day.
Before forming Global Messaging Solutions, Inc., Mr. Brunkhardt was founder and President of WJB Systems, Inc., a high technology consulting firm that focused on mid to Fortune-500 size businesses globally. Here Mr. Brunkhardt worked closely with top management to develop short, medium and long term technology strategies to propel their businesses into the Internet age and beyond.
Prior to forming WJB Systems, Inc., Mr. Brunkhardt was a founder and served as Vice President of In-Sync Interactive Corporation in Los Angeles, California, the single largest FCC license holder of 218/219 MHz Wireless Service licenses. While at In-Sync Interactive, Mr. Brunkhardt was responsible for the initial conceptual development of the wireless technology used in the 218/219 MHz wireless spectrum. Mr. Brunkhardt also developed a high-performance computer network and infrastructure that managed all aspects of In-Sync's core business, including financial records, investor databases, document management systems, etc.
Prior to his involvement with In-Sync Interactive, Mr. Brunkhardt served as Chief Technology Officer for The Palmer Companies, Inc., a holding company that has owned and operated several privately-held businesses. In this capacity, he designed, developed and administered technology-related systems, including client/server systems, computer security, computer networking, digital wide-area-networks, digital wireless networks and digital PBX telecommunications systems.
Today, Mr. Brunkhardt is a well known industry expert in the fields of the Internet, electronics, messaging, telecommunications, cyber-security, communications security, VoIP, encryption, wireless communications including 802.11.x, satellite, HF, VHF, UHF, microwave and light-wave communications. Mr. Brunkhardt also holds a Technician-Class Radio license from the Federal Communications Commission.
Mr. Brunkhardt serves on the board of various companies and organizations. He is the past- President of the Kansas City Chapter of the worldwide Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO). He spends a significant amount of time with entrepreneurs, helping them execute their business plans effectively and precisely. Mr. Brunkhardt is an active member of The Executive Committee (TEC); the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s InfraGard Program to help protect critical infrastructure of the United States; and the Business Executives for National Security (BENS). Mr. Brunkhardt serves as an information technology advisor and committee member of the Missouri Public-Private Partnership which advises the Missouri Department of Homeland Security on various information technology and security issues. Mr. Brunkhardt also serves as a co-chair for a State of Missouri cyber-security task force. Mr. Brunkhardt is an advisory director for The Bank of Prairie Village. Mr. Brunkhardt is a 2005 graduate of the FBI Citizens’ Academy. Mr. Brunkhardt graduated from the Pembroke-Hill School and Pepperdine University. Mr. Brunkhardt resides in Kansas City.
James L. Brunkhardt
Chief Financial Officer, received his B.S. Degree in Accountancy
from the University of Colorado. Mr. Brunkhardt spent fifteen years
in various management positions, and the last eighteen years as
President and CEO of a large regional periodical distribution
company. In addition to his managerial responsibilities, Mr.
Brunkhardt was active in a number of periodical distribution
industry associations, including Chairman of the Council for
Periodical Distributors of the Americas. Mr. Brunkhardt has been a
member of the Young Presidents' Organization and is currently active
in the Chief Executives Organization and the World Presidents'
Organization.
Thomas W. Garlock
Director of Business Development, Director. Mr. Garlock has been
providing organizational, financial advice, and merger/acquisition
services to technology companies in the computer hardware/software
and wireless telecommunications industry since 1980. He is the
co-founder and Chairman of In Sync Interactive Corporation, the
nations largest owner of interactive video data service licenses
issued by the Federal Communications Commission. He also is the
co-founder and Chairman of Freepoint Telecom, Inc., which provides
wireless telephone services to hotels, convention centers, and
office buildings in California. He has acted as managing general
partner of various limited and general partnerships, which have held
interests in 59 FCC cellular telephone licenses. Mr. Garlock is the
president of Multimedia Finance Corporation which provides venture
capital to the computer software industry, a director of Acrylis,
Inc. which develops e-commerce software for Internet companies, and
a director of Applied Data Communications, Inc., a software
duplication and CD-ROM replication company, with headquarters in
Santa Ana, California. Mr. Garlock is a director of LocatePlus.com,
Inc., an Internet service provider and portal for law enforcement
and investigative industries. He attended Kent State University, the
University of California at Los Angeles, and the Otis Parsons School
of Design.
Brian K. Bailey
Chief Information Officer. Mr. Bailey provides overall technical
direction for the company and is responsible for the management and
training of GMSI's technical support staff. In addition to this, he
is responsible for designing and engineering GMSI's network
infrastructure, system redundancy, and disaster recovery procedures.
Prior positions have included Senior LAN/WAN Engineer for an
Application Service Provider, Senior Systems Engineer for an
Internet Service Provider, Technical Support Manager for
Southwestern Bell, and various technical consulting positions. Mr.
Bailey received his formal technical training from DeVry Institute
of Technology and the University of Phoenix.
Alison
Ross
Director, Product Marketing. Alison has
experience developing successful interactive media campaigns. Most recently, Alison served as the
VP, Product Marketing at Perks.com, where she spearheaded the
interactive agencies’ entry into the online consumer and employee
incentive market. In this role, Alison guided the strategy and
execution of multi-million dollar incentive marketing campaigns for
clients including Dr. Pepper, Dell Computers, Infiniti Motors and
Electrolux. Previously, as an Executive Producer at America Online
and later, Styleclick.com, a subsidiary of USA Networks, Alison
served as the primary liaison between retail clients and an internal
production team, responsible for devising innovative selling
strategies and leading the implementation of online marketing
campaigns and branded e-commerce solutions. Alison earned a
bachelor degree in Advertising with a Marketing emphasis from
Pepperdine University.
