California-based broadband ISP finds GMSI a better alternative
than building out costly infrastructure.

OVERLAND PARK, KANSAS (April 10, 2000)-- Global Messaging Solutions, Inc. (GMSI), today announced a strategic partnership with Freepoint Telecom, Inc., a California-based broadband Internet service provider. Under terms of the agreement, GMSI will provide Freepoint Telecom, Inc. with back-end messaging and web hosting services using GMSI's carrier-scale, mission critical Internet infrastructure.

This agreement will allow Freepoint Telecom to focus on its core competency and let GMSI manage its eMail and web-hosting services. By outsourcing these critical ISP services to GMSI, Freepoint will be able to offer their customers a much more robust and feature-rich product offering than competing broadband ISPs. GMSI will be offering their services to Freepoint Telecom beginning immediately.
