First National Bank of Onaga chooses GMSI to provide bank-wide eMail

OVERLAND PARK, KANSAS (October 4, 2000)-- Global Messaging Solutions, Inc. (GMSI) today announced that Kansas-based First National Bank of Onaga (FNB of Onaga) has chosen GMSI’s enterprise-class eMail system for their internal operations.  FNB of Onaga, headquartered in Merriam, Kansas, has seven branches in northeastern Kansas.  Bank employees company-wide will use a state-of-the-art system employing virus scanning and encryption technologies.

Indicative of the current trend in IT outsourcing, FNB of Onaga decided to look for outside expertise in designing and implementing its eMail system.  Outsourcing certain technical systems allows companies to access technology and expertise that might otherwise have been cost prohibitive.  In addition, outsourcing allows companies to implement systems quickly and efficiently.
